Y5&6 boys football friendly matches v Baschurch

A great effort from our two boys football teams that took part in friendly matches v Baschurch after school today. Both of our 6-a-side games too place with great sportsmanship, with both teams committed. Team A lost 4-2, with a great strike from Dexter and a right-footed finish from Finley, whilst Team B were defeated 8-2, with a well taken goal from Bertie and a nice finish from Rowan. Jayden and Riley pulled off some great saves in goal too!
It was great to give more children the opportunity to represent the school in a competitive football match and they would’ve learned a lot from it. ⚽️ Thank you to those who came to suppprt the teams.

Y5&6 Basketball tournament

Well done to the Y5&6 basketball teams who took part in a tournament yesterday at Corbet School. It was a great experience for them to be in competitive matches in basketball and further opportunity for the Y6s to use the sports hall at Corbet School in preparation for attending there next year.

Swimming Sessions Start – 26th April

Dear Parent/Carer

Just a quick reminder that the swimming sessions start tomorrow, Wednesday, 26th April.

Please ensure you send your child’s swimming kit with them, school do NOT have any spare kit which they can lend. Please can we also ask that the girls don’t wear tights on this day as it is a “challenge” for them to get dressed again following their session. Can we also ask that the girls have their hair tied up and that no one brings any aerosols.

If your child has any goggles they can bring them,  although it is not a necessity.

If you have any questions please give school a bell on 01939 290834

Regards

Mrs Smith
