Another date for your diary is our parent workshop. At this workshop I am going to be sharing the curriculum overview for the year, showing you how we teach phonics in school and how you can help your child at home with their reading.
Miss Downer will support the children outside when this takes place.
Please send me a message to let me know that you can come.
Many thanks

PANDA CLASS TRIP – Wednesday 16th September 2026
Dear Parents/Carers
We have arranged a special start of school trip for Panda Class to Weston Park on Wednesday 16th September. This trip will support our History, Science and English work for this half term. We are going to learn about Victorian toys during a Victorian workshop and understand why modern toys are different. We will also be using our 5 senses in a science activity where we will be making a Victorian concoction using herbs from Weston Park’s beautiful gardens. There will also be time to play on the park and roast marshmallows before returning back to school. We will be leaving school at 9.00am and will return for approximately 3.00pm.

WELCOME TO PANDA CLASS 🙂
Hi everyone!
Hope you have had a lovely summer, and I am really looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday. Here are a few key points you might like to know.
1. Drop off time 8:45 at the classroom doors. Finish time is 3pm. Collection from the same place.
2. PE – Our PE days are Tuesday. Children are welcome to come to school in the correct PE Kit.
3. Forest schools will be on a Friday afternoon. Children can wear normal everyday clothes to school, arms and legs to be completely covered for safety reasons. Please provide coat/waterproof all in one and wellies.
4. Uniform- Please make sure that your child’s clothing is clearly labelled with their name.
5. Please could children not bring their things in a rucksack or big bags. I have a small cloakroom and space is limited. ☹
I am aware this is a lot of information, but I have tried to think of everything you might need to know before we start. If there is anything else, please do not hesitate to send me a message. I will try to reply as soon as I can.
I have also been very busy this summer, I hope you will all love what I have done to your classroom ☺️
Many thanks for your support
