Lichfield Cathedral Trip – Update

Just to let you know, the coach left Lichfield at 14:20pm.

Please check the website and Facebook page for a more accurate return to school time.

Inspire trip to Lichfield Cathedral

Rhino Class have had a wonderful day out learning about the importance of values in the beautiful setting of Lichfield Cathedral.

The children were so well behaved and really enjoyed all the activities which included a historic tour, singing in the Chapel and even building using Minecraft!

The weather was absolutely brilliant and we even had the opportunity to eat our lunches outside in the sunshine.

Lichfield Cathedral Trip – 7th June – Rhino Parents

Don’t forget the early start in the morning!!!

Please bring your child to school for 8am, the main school gate will be open.

They will need their packed lunch, waterproof coat and sensible walking shoes.

We will post the arrival time back in Myddle on the school website but it will hopefully be around 4pm. A copy of the original letter is attached for all details.

Sports for Champions workshop – 6th July

We will be hosting an inspirational workshop with England International Decathlete Matthew Lee on the Wednesday 6th July which all of the children will be taking part in.

Sports For Champions UK (CIC) in partnership with Myddle CofE Primary School and the local community are running a fundraiser to help support the mental and physical health of the pupils after the national lockdowns.

The children will be watching a video in school this week and be invited to join a sponsored fitness circuit led by Matthew, who will educate, enable, and empower participants with a view to inspire them as champions of tomorrow.

1 hour per day, term time only

We are looking for a friendly lunchtime supervisor to join our team at Baschurch. We need someone who can support and supervise the children at lunchtime, in the dining hall and outside, in a wide range of activities from group games to individual care.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Tiger Class looked very smart in their posh outfits and had a brilliant afternoon celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in School.

Following a picnic (which we had in our classrooms, due to the somewhat unseasonable weather) and a boogie, the children had different workshops to attend around the School, including dancing, singing, art and royal-themed party games!

At the end of the day, all children were issued with a commemorative Myddle School celebratory new badge to remind them of where they were at this historical event.

Everyone had a wonderful day!
