New Year activity

Dear Tigers,
please see the posts below with links for the video lessons, activities and worksheets for today. I have included Maths and English lessons, as well as a New Year activity. From tomorrow, those posts will be found in out ‘Home Learning’ tab of the Class’ page.

Make sure you read the post for your year group, as the tasks are completely different.

Don’t forget you can also access Maths Shed and Spelling Shed to continue practising.

If you have any questions about any of the activities or need any help, please send me a message and I’ll respond as soon as possible.

Please remember I will be at School teaching the Tigers who must be in today, so I might not be able to answer straight away, but I will do my best.

I will also be organising a daily Zoom meeting from tomorrow, as mentioned by Mrs Williams, but am liaising with the other teachers to ensure siblings are not expected online at the same time, as I understand that might be difficult.

I can’t wait to hear all about your Christmas break. Meanwhile, choose at least one of the pages from your booklet attached to let me know about the past few weeks and your plans for the new year.

Christmas Lunch

Tiger Class had a brilliant time during our bubble Christmas lunch today!

After having wet play and PE in their classroom, the children were very excited but still very well behaved and polite throughout their festive meal.

Tiger Class Christmas Play

The play you’ve all been waiting to watch is here…….

Dear Parents/Carers

It appears that the a few of the School photo’s belonging to Tiger Class are still in school.

We will endeavour to send them home on Monday.

November Birthday Party

Earlier this month, we decided to give the children whose birthdays are happening during lockdown a chance to have a party with their friends in Tiger Class.

Today, we had our first Tigers Birthday Bash and the children had a brilliant time!

Independent writing

This week, the Literacy group had long sessions of independent writing, as we finished our last writing module of this half-term. They have worked hard, showed real stamina and produced some impressive work.
I am very proud of them!

Our new “worry monster”!

We have a new addition to Tiger Class! During our PSHE lesson – with “Paws” and the Jigsaws last week – we discussed our worries and how we can manage those. The children suggested having a class “worry monster” and today they were surprised with one. We are currently involved in enthusiastic discussions about what to call him, but he is already extremely popular with all Tigers. ??
