5 months ago Posted on 26th Feb 2026 by Mr G Hughes Y6 Jaguars Design and Technology In preparation for making a ‘marble run’ in Design&Technology, the Y6s were set a challenge of creating the tallest free standing paper tube structure this afternoon, with different degrees of success! They’ve learned a lot about the importance of solidity and sturdiness to ensure that they structure stays upright in the future.

Despite the defeat, they learned a lot about the importance of positional play and working as a team in a competitive game.

5 months ago Posted on 09th Feb 2026 by Mr G Hughes Girls football Well done to the 7 pupils in Y4,5 and 6 who represented the school in a girls football match against Prees after school today. After taking a 1-0 lead thanks to a well taken finish from Beau, the girls continued to fight bravely throughout the game but were unable to snatch a late equaliser and fell to a 2-1 defeat. A great effort all-round though and thank you to all of the parents who helped to transport the children to and from the game to allow this event to take place.

Needless to say, the observations weren’t too pleasant!
