Recycle your crisp packets here!

We are collecting empty crisp packets at school to raise money for the Shrewsbury Ark charity. When a certain weight is reached, they get sent to Walkers who then recycle them.

It would be great if you could send in your empty packets from home please.

Sun Hats & Sun Screen

As the weather is starting to improve and we getting more opportunities to be outside, please can we ask that you send your child to school with a sun hat that they can wear outside.

Children sunscreen is also recommended as an extra sun protection but this MUST be applied by parents before your child comes to school.

We will be mindful of the amount time that the children are out in the sun.

Tiger Jungle Time!

I managed to get a couple of photos during our first Tiger Jungle session today. This last one was during the “briefing”, when the children were reminded of the rules of Forest School and told about today’s task (which was all about birdwatching).

The weather was perfect for it and it was a rather wonderful way to finish the day.

Homework books have been sent home and spelling lists have been updated on the School’s website.

Tomorrow, Mrs Foster is back so I’ll be available again on Monday.

Rhino Homework – 24.4.21

This week’s homework is linked to our current maths topic of decimals. We have been learning about both tenths and hundredths.

I have given the first worksheet from each activity below for homework, but if you click on the links there are also some additional sheets that can be used to extend learning further if you feel it is required or your child would like to complete more work or appreciate a challenge.

Homework due back on Monday 26th April

All children who have brought back their Homework books have had these now updated for next week.

Times table sheet (depending on child’s results from previous test).
Spellings (in Spellings book) – can also be found on Tiger Class Spellings page of our School website.

Assignments in Maths Shed and Spelling Shed – login details can be find in Homework books.

Times tables tests and Spelling tests will continue to take place every Monday.

Jaguar Class – Afterschool Sports Sessions

Just a reminder that the after school sports sessions for Jaguar class will be starting tomorrow (Wednesday 21st April) and will finish at 4:15pm. Please collect your child from the normal school entrance.

Jaguar Class sessions are : 21st & 28th April & 5th May

If your child would like to attend, its not too late, please complete the attached consent form and return to school along with the payment.
