U10s Boys football vs St Peter’s, Wem

Well done to the 8 boys in Y3,4 and 5 (Idris, Oliver, Mylo, Steven, Hugh, Reuben, Daniel and Fin) who represented the school superbly in a football matches against St Peter’s, Wem. In hot conditions, it was end to end in the first half, with a hat-trick from Steven ensuring that it was level 3-3 at half time. Congratulations to St Peter’s who went on to score 3 more goals in the second half to earn a 6-3 victory but it was a well-fought game throughout. Hopefully the boys enjoyed it and are keen for more games in the future. ⚽️

TV star!

It was a very exciting day in Tiger Class on Wednesday as Miri appeared live on This Morning! We watched her being interviewed about her dedication to looking after the planet and her litter picking efforts. We are all very proud of Miri and what an amazing opportunity to appear on TV! Many children also spent some of their break time litter picking, helping look after our school and our planet. Well done!

Chester Zoo Trip 🦒🦓

Tiger class had a wonderful day visiting Chester Zoo linked to our rainforest topic work that we have been studying this term. They were all such a pleasure to take and were a real credit to the school.

U9s girls football

Well done to the girls who took part in a football match this afternoon on the school field against Grange Park, Telford. All of the girls wanted to play in a competitive football game aganst another school and they all enjoyed themselves, showing determination and work ethic on the pitch. Thank you to the staff and girls from Grange Park who drove over to play the game at our school. It was a pleasure to play against a group of delightful, well-mannered young girls.

Balancing and Travelling in Gymnastics

Tigers worked well in groups during our gymnastics session last week. They focused on practising different point balances and travelling in different ways. They designed their own routine in their groups and then performed it to the class. We have some fantastic gymnasts in Tiger Class and I can’t wait to see how they will inspire each other over the coming weeks!
