Anti-Bullying Week

The children took part in a fabulous Anti-Bullying assembly today, delivered by Reach-Out Arts. Year 4 then took part in workshops all afternoon to help them understand how to prevent bullying. It’s the second year that Saskia and Gemma have come into our school and they were so impressed with how much the children remembered from last year.

The message this year is ‘Change Starts With Us’ and there are lots of resources online if you would like to follow this up at home or find out more.

Roman Rhinos in Chester

Rhino class had a fantastic day in Chester furthering their studies of the Romans. As well as acquiring new knowledge, they were also able to showcase lots of their learning within sessions. The staff were particularly impressed by how much they have already learnt.

The Behaviour of all children was an absolute credit to the school which made me incredibly proud. Well done Rhino class.

Braving the weather

Thank you again to the team of volunteers (staff, parents and governors) that braved the horrible conditions on Saturday morning to help clear and tidy areas of the school grounds. The car park is now clear of leaves and surrounding areas have also been cleared. Two trailers in all were filled!!

Thank you again. You’re hard work and support is really appreciated.
