🎄Reminder – Christmas Dinner 2025 🎄

A quick reminder – If you haven’t completed the Christmas dinner order form for your child, please complete this by tomorrow morning as the kitchen needs to confirm numbers.

We are looking forward to holding our Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 10th December.

Reminder – Children In Need – Strictly Cha Cha Challenge – Friday 14th November 🪩

This year for Children in Need, we will be taking on the Strictly Cha Cha Challenge throughout the week!

The challenge is inspired by BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and encourages schools across the country to get moving for a great cause. Each class is learning a fun Cha Cha dance routine, building teamwork, confidence, and a lot of sparkle along the way! We are looking forward to bringing this altogether on Friday where we will preform the whole routine together! 🕺💃🪩

On Friday 14th November, children are welcome to come to school in their own clothes or Pudsey-themed merchandise in return for a small donation to Children in Need.

Every penny raised helps Children in Need support thousands of children and young people across the UK. The charity funds local projects that:

  • Provide safe spaces for children who are struggling.
  • Offer mental health support and counselling.
  • Help families facing poverty or difficult circumstances.
  • Give children opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun.

KS2 Boys football

Well done to the 8 boys (Oliver, Oliver, William, Owen, Idris, Charlie, Seb and Elvin) who were selected to represent the school in the Boys U11s Utilita Kids EFL Cup this afternoon. It was a great experience for them to play on Shrewsbury Town’s all-weather pitches against strong opposition and they would’ve gained a lot from the experience.

Message From the PTA:

Join in our festive fundraising!

We’re collecting raffle prizes and bottles for our Christmas Raffle and Wheelbarrow of Bottles Competition – both open to the wider community!

Every donation helps us raise funds for extra projects and experiences that make school life extra special. Thanks to previous fundraising, we’ve been able to fund the buses for this year’s Christmas panto!

The Wheelbarrow of Bottles Competition launches Friday 14th November, so we’d love donations of bottles (fizz, wine, beer, spirits, or mixers) by Wednesday 12th November to help fill our festive barrow ready for its big reveal!

We’ve already got some fantastic prizes lined up for the raffle, and we’d love to add even more!

Update from the PTA:

Great News – We’re Now a Registered Charity!

We’re really pleased to share that the Friends of Myddle Primary School PTA has officially become a registered charity – Charity Number 1215649.

This means we can now make the most of grants, matched funding, and Gift Aid, helping us do even more for the children and our school.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported us – from volunteering time and ideas to joining events and donating – you’ve all helped us reach this milestone.
