Help Us Kit Out Our School Sports Teams!

We are looking for a local business, organisation, or generous individual to sponsor a brand-new sports kit for our school teams.
Our pupils proudly represent the school at matches and tournaments throughout the year, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and excellent sportsmanship. A new kit would help our players feel part of the team and represent our school with pride.
The total cost of a full football kit is approximately £300. In return for sponsorship, we would be delighted to acknowledge your support on our school website, social media channels, and in relevant school communications.
If you or your business would be interested in supporting us, please contact the school office for more information.
Thank you for helping us provide the very best opportunities for our pupils.

Sun Cream Policy

As the warmer weather continues, please ensure that children come to school with sun cream already applied before the start of the school day.

We recommend using a long-lasting sun cream to help protect children throughout the day. Staff are unable to apply sun cream to children, so it is important that this is done at home before school.

Children will also be reminded to make use of shaded areas where possible and to wear sun hats when outside.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep children safe in the sun.

Action Needed – Children’s Commissioner’s Survey

As Children’s Commissioner, I am writing because I have not yet heard from any children or young people at your school as part of my national survey, The Big Future.

I am asking for your support in ensuring children and young people from your school take part here: http://www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/thebigfuture.

It is crucial that I hear from children in every school and college, in every community, across the country. Without hearing from your students, their experiences, views and aspirations risk being missing from the national picture that will help shape future policy.

At a time of significant change for children and young people, it is more important than ever that their views are reflected in policy making. Through this survey, I can take the voices of your students directly to the centre of government.

They all enjoyed taking part in the different activities to help to develop their bowling, batting and fielding skills. Thank you to Mrs Emerton Maka for taking the pupils to this event.

Y6 Rounders

Well done the 9 pupils in Y6 who represented the school in a rounders match vs Ruyton School this morning at Corbet School. It was a very close game with Ruyton coming out on top by 9 and a half rounders to 9.
