KS2 Mini Athletics

This morning, a group of 16 pupils from Y3,4,5 and 6 were selected to represent Myddle Primary in a mini athletics event at Corbet School. The pupils took part in some running, throwing and jumping events on the school field. For many of the pupils, it was their first / one of their first opportunities to represent their school in a sports event and they all did really well. Well done in particular to Iyla Tucker who finished 1st in the long jump. We hope all of the children enjoyed it and it has encouraged them to want to be selected on more occasions to represent their school in sport.

Thank you to Mrs Owen and Mrs Emerton Maka for taking and supporting the children at this event.

Please Name Your Child’s Uniform!

We’ve had an overwhelming number of lost uniform items recently — lots of the items are unnamed. This makes it very difficult (and often impossible) for us to return them to the correct student.

As you can see from the photo below, our lost property collection is growing rapidly!

To help us reunite lost items with their owners, please ensure that all of your child’s uniform — including jumpers, coats, PE kit, and lunchboxes — is clearly labelled with their full name.

This small step makes a big difference and saves time for staff, parents, and children alike.

Thank you for your support!
