We are very pleased to have received our final Ofsted report following our recent inspection on November 18th.
We hope you agree that it really reflects the wonderful staff and children at Myddle. The inspectors were impressed with how we prioritise the whole child, through all of our music, art, trips, clubs and opportunities, alongside really robust teaching of the core subjects. As well as a Deep Dive into maths and reading, Ofsted also conducted a Deep Dive into how we teach MFL (Spanish) and were extremely impressed with the teaching and learning, the curriculum and progression. They praised the behaviour and attitudes of the children and the subject knowledge and dedication of all staff.
We are delighted with the report and our result;Â it is a culmination of all the hard work over the last few years in order to meet the ever-changing expectations of the government, as well as keeping true to our own ethos. On the day, the inspectors saw what we do, day in, day out and to be judged as ‘good’ is something we are all very proud of.
