Good Morning,
Hope you all had good day yesterday. Tomorrow is Free up Friday, so today is the last day of directed learning for this half term. Thank you for all your hard work over the past 6 weeks. I can’t believe the time has gone so quickly but you should all be very proud of yourselves.
I will put together another celebration slide show of your work by the end of the week so don’t forget to send in photos of your work. Many thanks.
Good luck today and do your best!

Activity 2: English: Lesson 8 of ‘The Day The Crayons Quit’
Lesson 8: This is the final lesson in this series.
Today’s double page layout is the same as the previous lesson:
After todays session, your complete persuasive letter can be put together by combining all your writing sides to form individual paragraphs of a persuasive letter. I have uploaded Mrs. C’s version so you can see what your final piece should look like.

Rather than set an afternoon activity, please use the time today to complete/write up your final version of your persuasive letter. It would be great to share some of these in the celebration powerpoint at the end of the week. Remember to use your best handwriting and really focus on your presentation.
Activity 3:
Maths: We are continuing with the unit on Fractions looking primarily at equivalence.
Below are links to the white rose video for today’s learning and the corresponding activity sheets for ‘Equivalent Fractions (2)’. This is the 3rd video lesson and is the second of two year 4 units extending the learning from the previous recap sessions on equivalent fractions.
