Road Closure

We have been made aware that the Baschurch road past the Church towards school is closed for road marking to take place.

I have spoken to the workmen and they are hopefully it will only be for a short period of time. Please do not worry if you arrive late to collect your child because of this, we will keep your child inside and by the main reception area.

School Sports Games GOLD award!

We are delighted to say that for the third year in a row, Myddle CE Primary School have been successful in our application for the School Sports Games GOLD award for our achievements in PE and school sport this year. It’s been a great team effort, from our sports leaders, our PE coaches, Mrs Smith for organising transport to and from events, but most importantly, the children who have taken part in all intra-house and inter-school competition this year. Let’s aim for four in a row next year!

JAGUAR CLASS WALK – CANCELLED

We have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s walk around the village and to Newton on the Hill.

Our decision is based on the extreme weather warning, being able to safely staff the trip with our staff numbers being massively depleted at this time and also ensuring we still have enough staff left in school for the remaining classes.

Please accept our sincerest apologises for this cancellation and if you want to discuss this decision with us please give school a ring on 01939 290834
