Myddle Playground

We kindly ask that after picking up your child, you leave the playground promptly so that it remains available for any after-school clubs. This will help ensure their safety and allow everyone to enjoy the space.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping the playground a safe and accessible area for all.

Online Safety

In today’s digital world, children have greater access to technology than ever before. While the internet offers many educational and social benefits, it’s essential to ensure that children stay safe online. We teach our students about the importance of staying safe online and the lasting impact their digital footprint can have on their future. However, we greatly appreciate the support you provide at home in reinforcing these vital lessons.

We encourage you to:
✅ Monitor your child’s online activity – Know what apps, games, and websites they are using.
✅ Set parental controls – Use filters and privacy settings to protect them from inappropriate content.
✅ Encourage open conversations – Talk to your child about online dangers, including cyberbullying and speaking to strangers.
✅ Promote safe habits – Teach them to use strong passwords, avoid sharing personal information, and think before they post.

For more information on keeping your child safe online, we have compiled a selection of parent guides covering key topics such as age ratings, gaming, popular apps, and managing screen time. You can access these resources on our Online Safety page here: https://myddleschool.org.uk/home/parents-area/handbook/online-safety/

We appreciate your support in helping to create a safe and responsible online environment for our children.

Our Christian Value of the half term – Humility

Dear Parents/Carers,

At Myddle, our Christian values guide and inspire us each day. This half term, we are focusing on the value of Humility—recognising the importance of kindness, gratitude, and putting others before ourselves.

Through our worship, lessons, and daily interactions, we will encourage children to reflect on humility by:
🙏 Learning from the example of Jesus and other inspiring figures.
🤝 Celebrating acts of kindness, service, and teamwork.
đź’¬ Encouraging a mindset of gratitude and respect for others.

We invite you to join us in exploring this value at home by discussing the importance of humility and recognizing moments when your child demonstrates it in their daily life. Please see the link below for some helpful ideas of how you can explore this value at home.

Thank you for your continued support in nurturing our school’s Christian ethos.

Mrs Lenartowska’s Y5&6 Careers Talk (Muller Company Visit)

It was another wonderful opportunity for the Y5&6s this morning to experience the career/job of one of the parents in the class. This time it was Mrs Lenartowska, who incredibly kindly, along with her colleagues Brendan and Phil, came along to share with the pupils what life is like working for the Muller company. The children learnt about the different career opportunities as well as observing and taking part in scenarios which take place at the Market Drayton establishment. A huge thank you to the Muller team for giving up their working time to inspire the pupils and for providing the goodie bags that everybody received at the end.
