Young Minds Hello Yellow 2024 – Thank You

Thank you so much for supporting Young Minds Hello Yellow by wearing something yellow and doodling on Mrs Williams’ dungarees, so far we have raised a whopping £102.00!  Well done everyone.

Y5&6 Netball tournament

This morning, 14 Y5&6s were selected to represent the school in a netball competition at the Corbet School. After playing many matches, Myddle ‘A’ team finished 2nd in their group whilst Myddle ‘B’ team finished 3rd in theirs. A great effort by all and it was vaulable experience to take part in an inter-school competitive netball event, which for many, they had never done before.

News from Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation

Shrewsbury Town Foundation is pleased to share their Soccer School dates for the October half-term.
 
Camps will be running from the 28th October to 1st November at both our Shrewsbury and Ludlow sites.
 
All soccer schools will run from 9 -3pm and will give kids, aged 5 – 11, the opportunity to develop a number of skills, as well as playing in small-sided games and tournaments. Each day is priced at £20 each and can be booked via the following link:

Sickness and Diarrhoea

We have a number of cases of sickness and diarrhoea in school this week.  Please could we remind you that children must remain off school for 48 hours from the last episode of sickness and/or diarrhoea.  If you have any questions, please contact the school office.  Thank you.

Y5&6 Science

Thanks to the donations for Science resources from the hardworking PTA, our Y5&6s were able to investigate friction in Science this afternoon. The children tested which surface had the most friction.

Individual/Sibling School Photographs – Wednesday 20th November 2024

Individual/Sibling School Photographs will take place on Wednesday 20th November. Please ensure that only correct school uniform is worn.

Pre-schoolers are also welcome to join their sibling for a photo. Please send your school child in as normal so that they can be registered, before making your way to the school office at 8.45am with your pre-schooler.  We will then bring your school child to meet you in the school hall. Thank you.
