Autumn Clubs – Update

We recently discovered an error in the dates for Choir and Art Clubs due to the PD Day on 3rd November. Please see the updated letter below for the correct schedule.

I’ve also adjusted the payment details on the School Gateway. Parents who have already paid will automatically receive a £3 refund.

Apologies for the oversight, and thank you to the parents who kindly brought this to my attention.

Happy Summer Holidays

We would like to wish you all a wonderful summer holiday!

Good luck to all of our year 6 pupils who will be starting secondary school in September and to our other leavers. You have all been absolutely fantastic and we will miss you all very much.

First day of Autumn Term – Wednesday 3rd September 2025.

What a wonderful year we have had!

Poppy Cascade Project

This week, our children and staff had the pleasure of contributing to the Myddle Community Poppy Cascade Project.  We helped attach crochet and knitted poppies, made by volunteers within our community, which will help form a stunning display to be unveiled in November.  This was a meaningful opportunity for our pupils to reflect, connect with local history and feel proud to be part of this project.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful community for involving us in the special project – we can’t wait to see the finished cascade later this year.

Dinner Account Balances – End of Term Reminder

Dear Parents and Carers,

Please keep an eye out for an email advising you of your child’s current dinner account balance. We would be very grateful if all outstanding balances, including payment for any planned meals for next week, could be cleared by the end of term.

If your child takes school dinners but you do not receive an email, please let us know and we will ensure you have the information you need.

Thank you to everyone who has already made payment – your support is much appreciated.

Moving to secondary school

Tools to support the Year 6 transition (but also very useful for other parents)

As children transition from Primary School to Secondary, they experience many digital firsts, with many getting their first smartphone.

Help them understand the possible risks and benefits of going online with our resources for parents, carers and teachers to use at home and in the classroom.

We Are Proud to Share Our SIAMS Report

We are delighted to share with you the final report from our recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection.

The report is a glowing testament to our school community. It highlights the strong sense of care, purpose, and togetherness that defines our school – a place filled with wonderful children, dedicated staff, and incredibly supportive families.

We are immensely proud of the recognition this report gives to the values we live out each day. Thank you to everyone for the part you play in making our school such a special place.
