KS1 Performance Costumes

Please could all children in Panda and Tiger Class ensure that they bring their play costumes with them to school in the morning, as there will be a dress rehearsal tomorrow (Thursday 13 December).

We are also on the lookout for brown/beige leggings and a brown/beige long sleeve top, to fit a 7 year old. If you have either of these items which we could borrow, please hand them to Mrs McGrath or the school office as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Christmas Jumper Day

This Friday 14 December is Christmas Jumper Day! On this day children can come to school in their favourite Christmas jumpers for a minimum donation of 50p.

Children should wear full school uniform with their Christmas jumper replacing their school sweatshirt/cardigan.  If your child does not wish to wear a Christmas jumper, normal school uniform must be worn.

All proceeds will go to Save the Children.

Half Marathon

Don’t forget to sign up and make payment on the Gateway for this event (see previous post for more details). The closing date is this Friday 14 December and we will only be purchasing tickets for those who have responded. Many thanks.

KS2 Performance Tickets

Due to staff shortages we have been unable to print tickets for the performances on Wednesday. Please be assured that we have made a record of every ticket that has been ordered and made a register of how many have been allocated to each child so you can be ticked in as you arrive.

All extra tickets requested before 2.20pm on Monday have been allocated a space, however the evening performance is now full. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday and thank you for your patience.

KS2 Performance Costumes

Please could we ask that if you have not already sent in costumes for the performance please could you do so tomorrow as we are having a dress rehearsal.

In regards to costumes, children are required to bring in ‘warm clothing’ such as coats, hats, scarves and gloves. Also, as the performance is related to wartime, if your child has any wartime style costumes, please could they bring them in.  This is not essential, so please do not buy anything especially!

Also please could we ask for the children to arrive back at school at 5.15pm on Wednesday to prepare for the evening performance. Many thanks.

No Fencing/Dance Club This Week

Reminder that it was the last Fencing and Dance after school club sessions last week, therefore there will be no Fencing this afternoon (Monday 3rd December) and no Dance on Wednesday. Thank you.

Pantomime Permission

Just a reminder that it is our school visit to the Pantomime at Theatre Severn tomorrow, Tuesday 4th December – oh yes it is!  We will leave school at 9am and will return in time for lunch.

It is essential that we receive permission for your child to attend. Please either give your consent online via the School Gateway or provide the school office with written consent as soon as possible, if you have not already done so. 

Your child will be unable to attend the Pantomime if school do not receive permission.

Pantomime – Theatre Severn 04/12

It is our school visit to the Pantomime at Theatre Severn on Tuesday 4th December – oh yes it is!  We will leave school at 9am and will return in time for lunch.

If your child paid for the Pantomime which was cancelled last year, you will not be required to pay anything this year but you must give your consent on the Gateway. If your child did not pay last year there will be a separate payment option visible for you to make a payment (£11.00).

It is essential that we receive permission for your child to attend. Please either give your consent online via the School Gateway or provide the school office with written consent as soon as possible, if you have not already done so.

PTA Christmas Fair and Wreath Making Workshop

Just a reminder that it is the PTA Christmas Wreath Making Workshop tomorrow, Wednesday 28th November at 7pm in the school hall, for those that have signed up.

It is also the PTA Christmas Fair this Saturday 1st December, 12-4pm.  Please see attached poster for more information.

Christmas Card Proofs

Christmas Card proofs will be sent home with children this afternoon.  Please ensure that all order forms are returned to school by this Friday 30 November, to make sure that they arrive in time for Christmas!

Any orders returned after Friday afternoon will not be placed.

Unfortunately, if your child does not receive a proof, this means that their template was not returned by the deadline.
