Applications to Reception class 2024

The deadline for applications for your child(ren) to start school in Reception in September 2024 closes on Monday 15 January 2024.

Please ensure that you make an application online via the Shropshire Council’s portal – Synergy – Homepage (shropshire.gov.uk)

Please note that if you do not make an online application, your child will not be allocated a school place.

We would like to welcome Nicky Fox to the admin team as Myddle’s new Admin Assistant.  Nicky joined us for a few days before the Christmas holidays and is settling in very quickly.  Please feel free to pop round to the office to meet her and say hello!

Our admin team across the federation is now Nicky Cadman (business manager), Emily Birch (administrator, Baschurch), Nicky Fox (admin assistant, Myddle) and Kerrie Stanley (part time admin assistant, Baschurch).

Over the next few weeks, you will also see Emily in the Myddle office a few days a week whilst Nicky settles in.

The after school club booking system will go live tomorrow (9/1/24) on the School Gateway.   Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis and will only be allocated once payment has been received.  If your child is eligible for benefits related free school meals please contact the school office to make a booking.

All clubs start next week.  If you have any questions please contact the school office.

If you have any empty plastic sweet boxes, either, Celebrations, Roses, Hero’s or Quality Streets, please bring them into school in January. Mrs Hulme takes these to a local cancer charity who can recycle them for money.

Both films will be finishing at 7:20pm, they have all had a great night!

Please can parents attempt to collect at 7:20pm if possible.

Please remember the arrangements, Staff will bring the children back into school. They will collection their things and wait in their classroom. We will then invite parents into the school building to collect the children.

Please be patient, the children’s safety comes first!

They are just getting on the bus at the theatre, we anticipate their return time back to Myddle to be 17:20pm
