Lichfield Cathedral Trip – 7th June – Rhino Parents

Don’t forget the early start in the morning!!!

Please bring your child to school for 8am, the main school gate will be open.

They will need their packed lunch, waterproof coat and sensible walking shoes.

We will post the arrival time back in Myddle on the school website but it will hopefully be around 4pm. A copy of the original letter is attached for all details.

Sports for Champions workshop – 6th July

We will be hosting an inspirational workshop with England International Decathlete Matthew Lee on the Wednesday 6th July which all of the children will be taking part in.

Sports For Champions UK (CIC) in partnership with Myddle CofE Primary School and the local community are running a fundraiser to help support the mental and physical health of the pupils after the national lockdowns.

The children will be watching a video in school this week and be invited to join a sponsored fitness circuit led by Matthew, who will educate, enable, and empower participants with a view to inspire them as champions of tomorrow.

We are looking for a friendly lunchtime supervisor to join our team at Baschurch. We need someone who can support and supervise the children at lunchtime, in the dining hall and outside, in a wide range of activities from group games to individual care.

Jubilee Celebration “The Big Lunch” 5th June 12pm

Please come along to this jubilee event on Sunday, 5th June, 12pm onwards on the school field. Bring your picnic, bring your kids and bring the sunshine too if you can!

The event committee will be holding a “Hat” competition for the children. They must make a hat, then decorate it, get creative, then bring their finished masterpiece along to the event.

Judging & Prizes will be presented at the end of the event!

Yr.6 Parents – Deadline for Free School Transport 31st May 2022

Any parents/carers of year 6 pupils, who wish to apply for free school transport for their child/children from September 2022, should do so before 31^st May 2022. Applications can be made online at https://shropshire.gov.uk/school-transport/ or over the phone with the Council’s Customer Service Team by calling 0345 6789008. Alternatively, should you require a paper copy of the application form, please do not hesitate to contact the school or Passenger Transport directly via email, schooltransport@shropshire.gov.uk or over the phone on the above telephone number. It is important to explain that, if the application is not received by 31^st May 2021, the Authority may be unable to provide transport for the beginning of the autumn term 2022 and parents/carers will need to make their own transport arrangements. Access to school transport is not permitted until entitlement has been confirmed.

NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe

Jaguar Class took part in a great session with two lovely ladies from the NSPCC yesterday. The children worked really hard and enjoyed the work they did.
