Tiger Class – Independent writing

Last week, Tiger Class worked hard on their first independent writing task of this new school year. All classes used the same short film as our inspiration and we will use this piece of work to measure the children’s progress during the year.

Advance Ordering of School lunches

To assist the kitchen staff, we will be collecting lunch choices at the end of each of day, ready for the following day.

For example, On Wednesday afternoon, we will ask the children to choose what lunch they would like to eat on Thursday, this will mean we are always a day in advance.

We fully appreciate that initially we may have a  few “hiccups” but we are positive the children and staff will get used to it fairly quickly.

If your child changes their mind overnight or you want them to have a packed lunch, this isn’t a problem, just let us know in the morning.

Please speak to Mrs Smith if you have any questions.

Reading at home booklet

All parents should have received a hard copy of our Reading at home last year, but see below the link to that document, in case you need to refer to it.

Reading at Home – Myddle CE Primary School

If you would rather have another hard copy sent home, please drop me a note on Class Dojo and I will provide this as soon as possible. Likewise, if you have any queries about this, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks in advance for your support,

Mrs Crowe

Massive “Thank you”

We would like to say a massive “Thank you” to Mr Hinton, Charlie’s dad, who came in during the holidays and kindly painted the play house in Nursery. It looks amazing and the children love absolutely love it.

You are a star!
