The Scary Hair Disco is next week on Wednesday 24th October, 5pm-6:30pm. This event is open to all children from Myddle School. The cost is £3 per child or £7 max per family. This includes a drink and hotdog. There will be glow sticks and tuck on sale. There is a Best Hair Competition for each class and disco games throughout the event. Also could parents please support the No Phones rule and ensure that they are not brought to the event. Children attending the football event before the disco can join us late if necessary. Many thanks for your support.

Celebration Assembly – Friday 19 October

Just a reminder that it is our Celebration Assembly tomorrow at 9.10am.

If your child is receiving an award you will have already been notified via email, but all parents are welcome to join us.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Parent Lunches

Thank you to all parents, carers and family members that joined us for our Parent Lunches this week.  It was lovely to see so many of you and we hope that you enjoyed it.

If you have not already paid for your lunch (£3.00 per adult), please could we ask that you make payment as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Fornight song for parents! (And kids)

National Online Safety has teamed up with MusicAlternative to launch a Fortnite online safety song for  schools to share with their whole school community!

This song encourages parents and carers to “stay switched on” to online dangers when their children are playing Fortnite. We hope you love this video just as much as we do!

Secondary School Application Deadline -Y6

Just a reminder that the deadline for Secondary School applications is Wednesday 31 October. 

Applications received after 31 October are considered as Late. Late applications are considered after all the on time applicants have been allocated their school places.

This means that the pupil is at risk of not being allocated a place at their catchment/ nearest or preferred schools.

Harvest Costumes – Y6 Readers Only

Please ignore previous post regarding costumes on Thursday.  It is in fact only children that have a reading in church that will require a costume.  These parents will now be contacted separately.

Sunrise Club – Toys/Board Games Wanted

Do you have any unwanted toys or complete board games? We would be really grateful of any donations for Sunrise Club please!  If you have anything you would like to donate, please hand it to the school office or a member of staff at Sunrise Club.  Thank you.

Harvest Festival & Raffle

Just a reminder that it is our Harvest Festival at the Church on Thursday 18 October at 10.30am. Everyone welcome, we hope to see you all there.

If you would like to make a donation to our food raffle, please bring this into school before Thursday so that we can make up hampers.

Some of our children will be selling raffle tickets in the mornings before school starts and also at the Church on Thursday.
