Its Panto Time!!

We are excited for our visit to theatre severn tomorrow to see “Beauty and the Beast”.

We are booked in for the 2pm showing, and the performance is approximately 2 1/2 hours long. We will up date the website with an anticipated return to school time.

Please can all parents avoid parking in the lay-by outside school to allow the buses to park. Parents are to wait in the playground NOT on the pavement outside school. We will bring the children to parents once we have safely got everyone off the buses. Parents and children  should then leave the playground via the gate by nursery to avoid congestion at the main gate.

We hope you appreciate these safety measures so we can keep everyone safe in the dark.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give school a call on 01939 290834.

Nursery Issue

Unfortunately we have unwelcome visitors in Nursery; we spotted two mice this morning in the setting!

The children were relocated straight away into the hall, where they spent the day. Pest Control are due to visit school tomorrow (Friday) and we will update you on their findings/timescales for resolving the problem.

Our aim is to “continue as normal” in the hall or within the Panda classroom, depending on numbers. Please note, collection and drop off will be either in the outside area of Nursery or in the Panda Veranda. A staff member will be waiting in this area for them. The main Nursery door will not be in use.

If you have any questions or concerns please give school a ring on 01939 290834.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause as we try to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

Hand, foot and mouth disease

We currently have cases of hand, foot and mouth in school which we want to make you aware of. Please find attached the NHS guidance on this disease and what symptoms may be experienced.

As Mrs McGrath is pregnant, she should not be in contact with anyone with hand, foot and mouth. Please can we ask that if, you think your child has hand, foot and mouth, you let us know immediately so we can arrange for Mrs McGrath to be isolated.
