We are absolutely delighted to share the incredible success of this year’s Myddle Muddle!
On Sunday, our school and wider community came together for a truly special day, taking part in the 10k, 5k and 1 mile colour run through the beautiful countryside surrounding Myddle. The event, organised by our amazing PTA, is a much-loved community fundraiser that brings together families, runners, volunteers and supporters of all ages.
Thanks to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of everyone involved, we are thrilled to announce that a fantastic £10,600 was raised for our school — an outstanding achievement for a small rural community.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our PTA, whose tireless planning and organisation made the event possible. From the early stages of planning months in advance, to coordinating race logistics, liaising with suppliers, organising volunteers and carefully mapping out the routes, our PTA showed remarkable dedication and attention to detail. The preparation behind the scenes – including arranging our first colour run, managing registrations, ensuring safety measures were in place and preparing everything needed for the day – was extensive. On the day itself, this hard work shone through as the event ran so smoothly, creating a fun, safe and memorable experience for everyone involved. Your efforts were simply incredible.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to:
- All of our runners and participants
- Our wonderful volunteers and marshals
- Families, friends and supporters who came along to cheer and help
- Everyone who contributed through fundraising and donations
The Myddle Muddle is more than just a run – it’s a celebration of community spirit, bringing people together in a fun, inclusive and memorable way while raising vital funds that directly benefit our children.
We are so proud to be part of such a supportive and generous school community.
Thank you all for making this year’s Myddle Muddle such a resounding success.
