We would love to encourage our children to take part in this year’s Shropshire Libraries Summer Reading Challenge: Read to the Beat!
The challenge is free to join and is a fantastic way to keep children reading over the summer holidays. Children can sign up at their local library, choose books to enjoy, set themselves a reading goal and collect stickers and rewards along the way. Some of the local libraries also have free, fun activity days planned over the summer.
This year’s music-themed challenge celebrates the links between stories, songs, imagination and creativity.
