Tiger Class were very lucky to have a visit from P.C. Taylor and his colleague. They explained to the children about all the different types of work that a police officer might do, how they prevent crime from happening and most importantly that children should never feel scared when they see a police officer as they are there to keep us safe and help us. The children loved handling the equipment and uniform and asking lots of questions about it. They then got to see inside a police van and have a go at switching the blue lights on and off. Hearing the loud siren was also a highlight! Quite a few children are now dreaming of being a police officer when they are older!
