As part of our topic work we have been studying the Great Fire of London. We have spoken about how different it would have been in 1666 with no organised fire brigade and lack of equipment. We were lucky enough to have a visit from a local fire brigade who spoke to us about their safety equipment and what they use to tackle fires now. We discussed how this would have been very different in 1666!
