New teaching assistant

We are very pleased to welcome Mr Lewin to our school this week as a new teaching assistant. Mr Lewin will be working full time in Jaguar class and will also be a lunchtime supervisor. Mrs Wild is now going to be working in Rhino class along with Mrs Harris. We are extremely fortunate at Myddle to have a full time teaching assistant in every class – they are such an asset to our school. We hope you will join us in making Mr Lewin very welcome.

Punctuality

We have noticed an increasing number of children are turning up for school late. This proves disruptive for the whole class and delays the start of lessons for everyone. The school gate opens at 8.45am and will be closed at 9.00am.

Reminder that it is Young Voices tomorrow, Thursday 17th January.

Children will arrive at normal school time and we will leave by coach at approximately 11.15am. We will arrive at Birmingham Genting Arena in time for lunch. Children need to take a packed lunch, a packed tea and plenty of water.

Children will need to wear a dark pair of trousers or skirt to wear with their Young Voices t-shirts which will be handed out on the day. If you have not purchased a t-shirt your child will need to wear a plain white t-shirt.

We will arrive back at school around 11.00pm from where you can collect your child. Any updates will be posted onto the school website/facebook.

Children will not need to be in school until 10.30am on Friday.
