May Half Term is next week.
Whether you’re hoping to pursue a career in football or just want to enjoy the beautiful game with friends, Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation’s Soccer Schools provide a platform for players to learn, grow, and forge lasting memories on the field.
 With sessions delivered in Shrewsbury and Ludlow, our Soccer Schools run throughout the school holidays with the aim to keep children active and engaged with fun sessions led by a team of experienced coaches. Backed by the only professional football club in Shropshire, our Soccer Schools offer a unique experience for children.
 Shrewsbury & Ludlow – Tuesday 28th May – Friday 31st May 2024. (9am-3pm) (£16)

Lunch Menu Change 24.05.24

There will be a slight change to the lunch menu on Friday 24th May. Instead of fish, it will be sausage rolls.  Thank you.

Free School Transport – Current Year 6 Pupils

Any parents/carers of year 6 pupils, who wish to apply for free school transport for their child/children from September 2024, should do so before 31st May 2024. Applications can be made online at https://shropshire.gov.uk/school-transport/ or over the phone with the Council’s Customer Service Team by calling 0345 6789008. Alternatively, should you require a paper copy of the application form, please do not hesitate to contact the school or Passenger Transport directly via email, schooltransport@shropshire.gov.uk or over the phone on the above telephone number. It is important to explain that, if the application is not received by 31st May 2024, the Authority may be unable to provide transport for the beginning of the autumn term and parents/carers will need to make their own transport arrangements. Access to school transport is not permitted until entitlement has been confirmed.

Special Lunch Menu 06/02 – Chinese New Year

There will be a special menu on Tuesday 6th February to celebrate Chinese New Year. The menu will be as follows –

Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls

or Quorn Nuggets

Served with noodles

Followed by –

Orange and Coconut Cookie

Number Day – Friday 2nd February 2024

On Friday 2nd February we will be taking part in the NSPCC Number Day 2024 where we will ‘Dress up for Digits’ and have a fun-filled day of maths activities and games, while raising money to support very important NSPCC services such as Speak out Stay safe and Childline.

Children will be able to dress up in a Maths related outfit which can be as simple or as intricate as you would like.  We will join together in Key Stages to complete different maths activities across the school.

Shropshire Primary Schools Half Marathon – YR-Y6

A letter will be sent home with children this afternoon regarding this year’s Shropshire Primary Schools Half Marathon which is taking place on Saturday 20th April 2024. If your child wishes to take part, you must sign them up on the School Gateway by Friday 2nd February.
