We would love to welcome parents/carers/grandparents into school to volunteer in class. We used to have more regular helpers before Covid, and would really like to build this back up again.
It can be really rewarding spending an hour or so with young children. Perhaps you could spare some time for: hearing readers, changing reading books, an art or DT afternoon, forest school, a computing lesson, a PE lesson.
You don’t need to have any skills or qualifications to help – the only thing you we would need to do is volunteers DBS check.
If you think you could make a commitment to come in once a week, or once a fortnight, please come to the office and us know. You will need to bring one piece of photo ID and two proofs of address to get the DBS.
