Don’t forget that we run our parent, baby and toddler sessions on Friday mornings in the nursery. These are a really good way to meet other parents and familiarise your children with our school and nursery. This week, we only had one family, which is a shame. We do need more people to attend to make it viable, so please spread the word if you are able. Thank you for your support.
We are very pleased to announce that due to our thriving nursery numbers, we have now appointed a qualified teacher. Carol Davies will join Kirsty and Jodie in the nursery full time and will begin working with us after half term.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Fran Jones who works some of the week in the nursery and some at Baschurch. From half term, Fran will be full time at Baschurch. We are very grateful to Fran for being flexible and adaptable across the federation.
We had a lovely Harvest Service on Thursday morning and are pleased to let you know that over £100 was raised for Hope House Charity. Many thanks for your support.
Please see poster with details of an action packed half term activity for pupils aged 8 years+ at Love Fitness, Shrewsbury.
Don’t forget next Friday 26 October is a PD Day so children will not be in school. The following week is half term. We hope you all have a lovely break.
Please see posters with details of upcoming PTA events.
The Scary Hair Disco is next week on Wednesday 24th October, 5pm-6:30pm. This event is open to all children from Myddle School. The cost is £3 per child or £7 max per family. This includes a drink and hotdog. There will be glow sticks and tuck on sale. There is a Best Hair Competition for each class and disco games throughout the event. Also could parents please support the No Phones rule and ensure that they are not brought to the event. Children attending the football event before the disco can join us late if necessary. Many thanks for your support.

National Online Safety has teamed up with MusicAlternative to launch a Fortnite online safety song for schools to share with their whole school community!
This song encourages parents and carers to “stay switched on” to online dangers when their children are playing Fortnite. We hope you love this video just as much as we do!

Just a reminder that the deadline for Secondary School applications is Wednesday 31 October.
Applications received after 31 October are considered as Late. Late applications are considered after all the on time applicants have been allocated their school places.
This means that the pupil is at risk of not being allocated a place at their catchment/ nearest or preferred schools.
Here is the link to the application form if you have not applied already
Do you have any unwanted toys or complete board games? We would be really grateful of any donations for Sunrise Club please! If you have anything you would like to donate, please hand it to the school office or a member of staff at Sunrise Club. Thank you.
